Residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi faced travel disruptions today as the Metro Bus service across the twin cities was suspended temporarily. Additionally, Rawalpindi’s Green Bus service was also halted following directives from the district administration.
According to Metro Bus authorities, the service suspension was implemented as a precautionary measure amid potential protests organized by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Officials confirmed that, despite the preventive measures, the overall security situation in Rawalpindi and Islamabad remains under control.
