(Web Desk): The government decided to move former prime minister Imran Khan to a hospital due to health concerns, Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said.

The PTI founder has also been allowed to speak with his sons, the minister for parliamentary affairs said, highlighting the human side of this decision. A medical board has been formed to assess his condition and provide proper treatment.

Dr Tariq emphasized, “The government prioritizes humanitarian and legal obligations,” adding that every prisoner is entitled to facilities as per the law. He further stated, “Health is a sensitive matter and should not be politicized.”

The minister urged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to avoid unnecessary propaganda or political point scoring. “The government is fulfilling its responsibilities. This matter should be approached with national seriousness and patience rather than turning it into politics,” he added.
