Lawyers told the court that no meeting with Imran Khan has been allowed for the past 37 days, and growing rumours about the founder’s health have caused serious worry among his legal team.
Salmān Akram Rāja and Faisal Malik requested that they be allowed to meet Imran Khan so they can take guidance on multiple cases, especially for consultation through video link in the GHQ attack case.
The lawyers argued that meeting a client is a basic right and urged the court to order the jail superintendent to arrange the meeting without delay.
Outside the Anti-Terrorism Court, Aleema Khan’s lawyer Faisal Malik told the media that seven bail petitions of Imran Khan were scheduled for hearing today. However, the prosecution claimed that the required record was not available, leading the court to postpone the hearing until 6 December.

Imran Khan’s request for a medical board will also be heard on 6 December, while the meeting request was filed on 1 December so that guidance could be taken from him regarding several ongoing cases.
PTI leaders say the long delay in arranging meetings has increased uncertainty around Imran Khan’s legal strategy. They believe the court’s reserved decision may shape the direction of upcoming cases. They also note that repeated postponements and missing records raise questions about coordination between departments, adding further tension to an already sensitive situation.
