(Web Desk): Former chief of army staff (COAS) General (r) Qamar Javed Bajwa was injured after fall at home and shifted to hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) for treatment.

General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa got injured after falling at his home in Rawalpindi. Sources say he suffered injuries to different parts of his body, including his head.

He was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors started his treatment. General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) under close medical supervision.

Doctors are carefully monitoring his condition to ensure proper recovery. Authorities and family members are keeping a close watch on his health.

The is following updates closely as the former army chief remains under observation. 

Sources said General Bajwa slipped and fell in the bathroom at night. He suffered three very serious head injuries, and internal bleeding also occurred. He was immediately shifted to CMH for treatment.

Until yesterday, doctors were not hopeful about his recovery. Today, he was able to recognise his two sons, which is a positive sign. However, his condition is still not out of danger. He is still in the ICU.
