LAHORE (Sunno News): Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari’s fake video case saw a new development as the court summoned here in person at the next hearing.

Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo heard the case at the district courts in Lahore regarding the alleged viral fake video of Information Minister Azma Bukhari.

During the hearing, accused Falak Javed appeared before the court along with her lawyers Rana Maroof and Azhar Sulleri.

As proceedings began, Falak Javed came to the rostrum and argued that the complainant was not appearing in court to prove the allegations.

She requested that arrest warrants be issued against the complainant for failing to attend the hearing.

Advocate Azhar Sulleri told the court that there were clear contradictions in the complaint and the FIR.

Lawyer Rana Maroof said the law requires the person making allegations to appear and prove them, adding that the case was registered without proper record.

Falak Javed’s counsel further requested non-bailable arrest warrants if the complainant continued to avoid appearing as a witness.

After hearing the arguments, the court summoned Azma Bukhari in her personal capacity for the next hearing and also directed all witnesses to appear.
