ISLAMABAD: (Suno News) While reacting to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi’s comment about the need for ‘surgery’ in the national cricket team, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan said ‘surgery’ should be performed on Mohsin Naqvi first.

Imran Khan talked to the media in Adiala Jail and said Mohsin Naqvi himself is the biggest product of favouritism. He questioned what qualities Mohsin Naqvi has.

“Our soldiers are being martyred. Robberies are happening in Islamabad, [but] they don’t care,” he flayed.

He also vowed legal proceedings against the IG (Prisons) and the jail superintendent, stating he is given 30 minutes each to meet his family members, lawyers, and political leaders.

He added one inmate prepares food in jail, and not more than six people are allowed to meet him.

He said meals used to come from home for Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari, adding many people used to come to the jail to meet both of them. He accused the IG (Prisons) and the jail superintendent of working on the agenda of PML-N.

He claimed everyone is trying to silence him to somehow cover up the rigging in the elections. He said the chief election commissioner (CEC) rigged the elections, adding the government’s aim is to shut down the media to cover up the lies.

He also said the sources of income within the country are decreasing and debts are increasing, adding there should be a postmortem of the elections.

He flayed action is being taken against PTI all over Punjab, adding PTI people are picked up wherever they hold conventions.

He also said PTI leader Shibli Faraz has been living in a house for 18 years, and this house was raided.

He said he has asked his party to prepare for country-wide protests.
