
Raisi, who is currently on a three-day visit to Pakistan, earlier landed at Jinnah International Airport’s old terminal and was received by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and provincial ministers.
Then the Iranian President along with his delegation reached Sindh Governor’s House and then visited the mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Eearlier, the Iranian president was accompanied by First Lady Jamileh Alamolhoda during his visit to Lahore. He began his Lahore tour by visiting the mausoleum of Poet of the East Allama Muhammad Iqbal where he paid his respects.
He then went to the Government College University (GCU) where he attended a conference. Thereafter, he held separate meetings with Punjab Governor Baleeghur Rehman and the chief minister.
A luncheon was hosted in honor of the Iranian president at the Governor’s House later in the afternoon today. After that, the president left for Karachi.
On the other hand, the Iranian’s first lady, accompanied by Punjab’s senior minister Marriyum Aurangzeb visited Khana-e-Farhang Iran where she attended an event.
After that, she visited the University of Home Economics where she attended a conference, and then headed to the Governor House where she hold a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
She then visited the mausoleum of Allama Iqbal from where she headed to the airport to leave for Karachi.
