
According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, the Pakistani government remains in constant contact with international partners and relevant authorities to ensure the safety and early release of all detained Pakistani nationals.
He added that through diplomatic sources in a friendly European country, it has been verified that Mushtaq Ahmad Khan is under Israeli military custody. However, there are no reports indicating any danger to his health or safety.
The spokesperson further stated that under local Israeli laws, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan will be presented before a court, after which deportation orders will be issued. The Pakistani authorities have already begun making arrangements for his safe repatriation once the legal process concludes.
It was also clarified that several Pakistani citizens who disembarked from the flotilla earlier have already returned home safely. Islamabad expressed its gratitude to all nations that extended assistance during this humanitarian mission.
The Foreign Office reiterated that the Government of Pakistan is committed to taking every possible step to protect its citizens and ensure their secure return from foreign custody.
