LAHORE: (Web Desk) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has approached the Lahore High Court seeking permission for holding a rally at Minar-i-Pakistan Ground on February 8.

PTI Punjab’s Chief Organizer Alia Hamza filed a petition stating that the party submitted a request to the Deputy Commissioner of Lahore on January 29 for permission to hold the rally, but her party leadership had not been responded yet.

The petition further mentioned that the administration is harassing them and threatening to withdraw the request.

The PTI’s petition has requested the court to grant permission for the rally on February 8 and prevent the harassment or abduction of innocent party workers during the event. They also asked the court to direct the administration to provide all necessary arrangements for the rally, allowing PTI to exercise its political rights.

Meanwhile, PTI leader and Senior Vice President of PTI Youth Wing Mohmand District, Muhammad Adnan, was killed by unknown gunmen.
