While addressing the National Assembly session, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said: “Our member of the National Assembly Mumtaz Mustafa has passed away today, so the meeting will not be held today as per tradition.”

Ayaz Sadiq said, “Mumtaz Mustafa had offered Friday prayers with us. The resolution that was to be presented today with reference to Kashmir will now be presented tomorrow.”

He added, “Today, at three o’clock in the afternoon, we have to gather here and submit a resolution to the United Nations regarding the killing of Ismail Haniyeh. All the senior members are requested to arrive.”
