ISLAMABAD: (Suno News) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Islamabad President Amir Mughal has been arrested again outside the office of the Islamabad deputy commissioner.
PTI’s lawyer Asim Baig confirmed the arrest of Amir Mughal outside the deputy commissioner’s office in his tweet.
PTI Senator Faisal Javed condemned the arrest. While talking to the media outside the Supreme Court, he questioned under which law Amir Mughal was arrested.
"According to the law and the Constitution, we are holding a public meeting at Tarnool, Islamabad, the day after tomorrow," Faisal Javed said.
"There will be a rally tomorrow in Mansehra, which will have only one demand: ‘Release prisoner number 804 [PTI founder Imran Khan]’," he added.
“Amir Mughal has been arrested to sabotage party activities and rallies for the release of the former prime minister,” he alleged and questioned why the court orders are being violated.
