ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s health has worsened, preventing him from traveling to Saudi Arabia.

Doctors have advised the former prime minister and president of ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to rest completely and avoid air travel.

Sources said that after his health declined, his personal doctor recommended he not go on the trip to Saudi Arabia. As a result, Nawaz Sharif’s wish to visit Saudi Arabia could not be fulfilled.

Like every year, Nawaz Sharif had planned to spend the last ten days of Ramazan in Makkah and Madinah, but his health issues have stopped these plans.

The sources added that Nawaz Sharif’s condition worsened, and he was not allowed to travel by airplane.

Doctors monitoring Nawaz Sharif’s health have advised complete rest for his recovery.
