The duo discussed the provincial security situation, especially law and order situation in Kurram Agency. The region was gripped by fierce clashes for many days.

The interior minister assured the KP CM of full support for peace and security in the province. He said the capacity of the Law-Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) would be enhanced to tackle any threat posed by the enemies of Pakistan.

Naqvi emphasised that the restive areas in Kurram Agency were direly in need of enduring peace. There is a need to take steps in consultation all stakeholders to establish sustainable peace in Kurram Agency, Naqvi said.

The duo paid tribute to the martyrs, who laid down their lives for establishing peace in the country.

‘We will together combat the menace of terrorism,’ KP CM Gandapur said.
