
In a conversation on a private TV programme, the Advisor on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, stated that if the court grants bail to Imran Khan, the government would have no objection.
He mentioned that Imran Khan is imprisoned due to his cases, and he can approach the higher judiciary for his release. The release of Imran Khan is only possible through the court, and if the court provides relief, there is nothing we can say.
While speaking about the meeting of the National Security Committee, Rana Sanaullah mentioned that the overall situation of the country was reviewed in the meeting. The National Security Committee expressed regret over recent incidents of terrorism and reaffirmed its commitment to dealing with terrorists with an iron hand.
He also mentioned that in the National Security Committee meeting, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, was urged to strengthen the police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in the province.
The PML-N leader said that security operations are ongoing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and operations based on intelligence will continue until the complete elimination of terrorists.
