BAJAUR (Web Desk): A hand grenade attack targeted the house of Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Mubarak Zeb Khan in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, police sources confirmed.

Unidentified assailants threw a hand grenade at the MNA’s residence, causing a loud explosion that severely damaged a nearby vehicle. Fortunately, Mubarak Zeb Khan and his family members remained safe, and no casualties were reported.

Soon after the blast, a large number of people gathered at the lawmaker’s residence to express solidarity with him and condemn the incident. The attack has once again raised serious concerns about the safety of public representatives in the region. Citizens and political figures have urged law enforcement agencies to take immediate action and strengthen security measures.

This marks the third attack on Mubarak Zeb Khan’s house this year. Earlier, on June 14, unidentified men attempted to target his home with a rocket, but it failed to cause injuries. The MNA had confirmed the attack, saying his house was struck “under the cover of darkness.”

In May, another explosion caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) damaged parts of his residence, though no one was harmed.
