ISLAMABAD: (Suno News) The federal government has announced strict action on the malicious campaign against Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa.

Addressing a press conference, federal ministers Khawaja Asif and Ahsan Iqbal said Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa has been targeted for a long time. “The state will not allow it in any way. The law will come to action with full force.”

Khawaja Asif said that the Supreme Court has clarified the matter, but the propaganda based on lies continues. “We want to tell everyone on behalf of the cabinet that the state will not allow anyone to issue fatwas to kill. If the state allows this, it will be disintegrated,” he declared.

He said efforts are being made to incite people to kill and extremist posts are being posted on social media. “We have a belief that the Prophet (PBUH) came as a mercy for the worlds, and this chain of mercy will continue forever as long as the universe is there,” he stated.

He said there is no greater blasphemy than such a discussion in the name of a religion which is the religion of mercy. “The state will take action on it, for it is all based on lies.”

“Chief Justice Qazi Faez has been targeted for many years. Everyone knows why he is being targeted, and this is a new mischief to silence a voice in the judiciary that upholds the tradition of truth and justice,” he pointed out.

He said that the state will not allow the malicious campaign against the chief justice, adding the law will come into action with full force. “We do not need to repeat this again and again.”

“Khatm-e-Nubuwwat is part of our belief. We do not need to repeat this again and again. If it has to be repeated again and again, understand that we are lacking something in society. Our belief should be manifested in our actions. It should be manifested in a way that people follow you. Islam is a message of love.”
