Gandapur says no operation will be allowed in KP

PESHAWAR: (Suno News) Pledging to protect the provincial autonomy of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that the government will not permit any external operations in the province.

Addressing a public meeting in Bannu on Friday, the chief minister highlighted the hardships faced by the local residents owing to the past operations. He made it clear that such disruptions would not be tolerated.

He said that provincial itself would make decisions about the people of the KP province. He also expressed dissatisfaction with the treatment of KP people in other provinces.

“We have made numerous sacrifices for Pakistan and now we will not allow any kind of operation in the province,” he said.

He said that Pakhtuns faced deprivation due to wrong policies of America.

Gandapur said that Pakhtuns have made numerous sacrifices for the sake of the country. They also played an important role in the freedom of Kashmir, and that Independence of Kashmir would not have been possible without the sacrifices of Pakhtuns, he claimed.

The chief minister made it clear that now Pakhtuns will not be pushed into more problems. He said that no operation will be allowed in the province. He assured the public that he would not allow any operation as Chief Minister.

He said that Pakhtuns had to leave their homes due to operations and make sacrifices. “They had to go to other provinces to earn a living where injustice was done to them. He said that dollars were eaten in our name and we were deprived,” he said.

“Instead of demanding peace and justice, Pakhtuns will get it themselves. Sacrifice is in the blood of Pakhtuns and they will continue to sacrifice for the sake of the country,” he said.

He thanked the people and leaders of Bannu who worked with the administration to establish peace and avoid conflict. He said, “If any seminary or place is considered as a secret hideout, only our administration will go there and solve the problems.” He called the education of madrassa important for children, and said that sufficient budget will be kept for them.

The chief minister said that those who will not reform will not stay here. He said that armed groups or individuals will not be tolerated in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He asked the people to fight against corruption.

Gandapour said that the people should fight against corruption and evict the drug dealers. He said that it is our national duty to fight against corruption.
