The Karachi Traffic Police have announced a detailed traffic management plan for the upcoming Pakistan International Maritime Expo & Conference (PIMEC-2025), scheduled from November 3 to 6 at the Expo Centre. Citizens have been urged to follow the guidelines to avoid congestion and inconvenience.
According to the plan, heavy and commercial vehicles coming from Karsaz and Nursery towards the Stadium via Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road and Sir Shah Suleman Road will not be allowed. Traffic from Karsaz and Shahrae Faisal will instead be diverted to Rashid Minhas Road, passing through Millennium Mall and onward to Nipa.
Similarly, vehicles arriving from the airport may take the Shahrae Faisal–Rashid Minhas–Millennium–Nipa route. Heavy vehicles from Millennium Mall heading toward the Stadium via Dalmia Road will also face restrictions.
Traffic from Nipa to Hassan Square will not be permitted, with alternate routes through Gulshan Chowrangi–Sohrab Goth or Rashid Minhas Road advised. Meanwhile, heavy vehicles from inner city routes moving toward Stadium Road or University Road will be diverted to Shaheed-e-Millat Road near Baloch Colony Flyover.

The plan also bars heavy vehicles from Liaquatabad No.10 towards Hassan Square, redirecting them through Shahrah-e-Pakistan, Karimabad, and Sohrab Goth. The University Road exit from the Expo Centre turning towards Stadium Road will stay closed for all traffic.
However, the Hassan Square Flyover leading to the National Stadium will remain open for light and private vehicles throughout the event.
