The gold price in Pakistan reached Rs 425000 per tola on Friday, following a fresh jump in international markets. According to the latest data, 10 grams of 24-karat gold are now priced at Rs 364380, while one gram costs Rs 36438.
In the international market, gold traded at $4012.9 per ounce, reflecting a continued upward trend driven by global uncertainty and rising investor demand for safe assets.

Similarly, silver rates in Pakistan also rose slightly, with 24-karat silver now priced at Rs 5192 per tola, Rs 4451.4 per 10 grams, and Rs 445.1 per gram. On the global front, silver traded at $48.68 per ounce.

Market experts believe the surge in gold prices is linked to fluctuations in the dollar rate and ongoing geopolitical tensions, which have boosted demand for precious metals. Analysts suggest that local buyers may remain cautious due to high domestic prices, while investors could see gold as a potential hedge against inflation.
