Thousands of families which are benefiting from the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) can now easily check their October 2025 payments from home just by using their CNIC numbers, without visiting any office or waiting in long lines. The government have made the the process easy oder for people to safely , quickly and privately check their payments.

Under the new method, beneficiaries can verify their BISP payment by following a few simple steps. They just need to type their 13-digit CNIC number in a text message and send it to 8171. Within a few moments, the system sends back a reply showing whether the payment is available, still being processed, or ready for collection at the nearest payment center.

Officials said this system aims to make the BISP payment check process more transparent and accessible for low-income families across Pakistan. It eliminates the hassle of long travels , waiting in queues, at offices, especially for women and elderly citizens who often face difficulties reaching collection centers.

The government has also urged beneficiaries to follow basic precautions: ensure their CNIC is valid, use a mobile number registered in their own name, and collect payments only from authorized BISP centers. Citizens are advised not to share CNIC or personal details with strangers to avoid fraud.

Those facing issues can visit the nearest BISP tehsil office, but in most cases, confirmation through 8171 will be sufficient. The simplified BISP CNIC check system reflects government’s commitment to broader and better digital inclusion.
