
A crimson moon, a rare and stunning astronomical phenomenon, will be seen in Pakistan for the first time in its history.
On the evenings of September 7 and 8, 2025, this will take place. When the Earth passes between the sun and the moon during a total lunar eclipse, the moon turns crimson, a phenomenon known as a "blood moon."
According to the Meteorological Department, the lunar eclipse will begin at 8:28 PM on September 7, with a partial eclipse starting at 9:27 PM.
The eclipse will reach its highest point at 11:12 PM. After that, the partial eclipse will end at 12:57 AM, and the total eclipse will finish at 1:55 AM on September 8.

This entire event will last for 5 hours and 27 minutes, giving people plenty of time to watch the moon slowly change color and glow red in the night sky.
