According to the notification, pink electric scooty scheme is open to women who are permanent residents of Sindh and are either students or employed professionals.

Eligibility Criteria for Pink Electric Scooty Scheme:

1.     Applicant must be a permanent resident of Sindh

2.     Must be a student or an employed woman

3.     Must hold a valid driving license

4.     If selected, recipient cannot sell the scooter for seven years

5.     Selected applicants must pass a road safety skills test

The scooters will be distributed through a transparent lottery draw system. To oversee this process, a dedicated committee will be formed comprising representatives from the Excise, Transport, and Finance Departments, alongside members of the media to ensure accountability.

Winners of the lottery will be required to meet certain conditions. Once selected, the recipient will be bound not to sell the scooter for seven years, ensuring that the benefits of the scheme are retained for genuine use. In addition, selected women must also undergo a road safety skills test before finalizing ownership, highlighting the government’s focus on safety and responsible driving.

The provincial administration further revealed that the entire application process is online.

Interested women can visit the official government website, click on the “Application Form,” upload the required documents, and submit the form digitally.
