Gold prices register decline in Pakistan

Web Desk: The prices of gold saw significant decline in international and local markets.

The gold prices decreased by $3 in the international market, downed to $2,562 per ounce.

The price of gold of 24-carat in local markets also decreased to Rs 267,400 per tola (11.66 grams) with reduction of Rs 300.

The price of 10 grams of gold also saw decline by Rs258, closing at Rs229,252.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, with one tola valued at Rs3,250 and 10 grams at Rs2,786.

In contrast, gold prices surged significantly yesterday, both globally and locally. In international markets, gold prices jumped $13 per ounce to $2,565. Domestically, gold prices witnessed substantial surge.

Traders attributed the domestic price hike to the global uptrend in gold prices.
