Pakistan Air Force earns top honors at world’s largest military air show
LAHORE (Web Desk): The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has proudly secured two prestigious international awards at one of the world’s biggest military air shows—the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2025.

The event, held from July 18 to 20 at the RAF Fairford in the United Kingdom, showcased some of the finest military aircraft globally. Pakistan’s historic C-130H Hercules transport aircraft won the highly respected Concours d’Elegance Trophy, an award that recognizes exceptional presentation and unique design.

Moreover, the state-of-the-art JF-17 Thunder Block-III fighter jet was honored with the Spirit of the Meet Trophy. The award celebrated the aircraft’s amazing performance, outstanding colour scheme, and its ability to perform nonstop flights with mid-air refueling.

The PAF team successfully completed a technically challenging air-to-air refueling operation before landing at RAF Fairford, this further demonstrated their skill and precision.

Military aircraft and crews from around the world are gathered at RIAT, an annual event that has held a significant place in aviation for over fifty years. The aviation event not only showcases aerial excellence but also supports the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust.
