(Web Desk): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf founder and ex-Premier Imran Khan’s signed eight power of attorney papers have finally received by his legal team.

The news was confirmed by PTI senior lawyer Barrister Salman Safdar that Imran Khan’s signed eight authority papers have recovered.

Imran Khan s sister, Aleema Khan, had filed individual petitions in the Lahore High Court, the Special Judge Central Court, and the Anti-Terrorism Court, according to reports. She expressed in her petitions that in spite of repeated requests, authorities were not letting her brother sign the legal documents required.

The petitions were meant to empower legally the legal team so that they could represent Imran Khan effectively in the cases in courts.

Aleema Khan expressed her concern about the legal obstacles and said that the power of attorney papers were critical to making an appeal in the Supreme Court against a certain ruling by the Lahore High Court. She claimed that Imran Khan was being deprived of legal representation, which is a breach of his basic rights.

Now that the signed documents have been received, PTI’s legal team has been officially authorized to fully represent the party founder in higher courts. Barrister Salman Safdar termed this development a significant step toward justice and expressed hope that legal proceedings would now move forward more swiftly.
