(Web Desk): Senior leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have expressed deep disagreements over the distribution of Senate election tickets.

PTI has finalized its candidates for the upcoming Senate elections. For general seats, the party leadership has nominated Murad Saeed, Faisal Javed, Mirza Khan Afridi, and Maulana Noor-ul-Haq Qadri.

Former Federal Minister Azam Khan Swati has been selected once again for the technocrat seat, while Rubina Naz has been nominated for the women’s reserved seat.

However, party insiders claim that loyal and long-serving workers have been sidelined in favor of wealthy and influential individuals—contrary to repeated claims by Imran Khan that PTI prioritizes its dedicated workers.

The decision has sparked backlash on social media, with users criticizing the leadership for ignoring party veterans such as Irfan Saleem, Ayesha Bano, and Khurram Zeeshan. The controversy has led to growing unrest within the party ranks.

In protest, PTI leaders and workers staged a sit-in outside the Peshawar Press Club and blocked a major road, declaring they would not accept the decision to favor wealthy elites over loyal party members.
