KARACHI (Web Desk): NADRA is set to expand Karachi’s registration counters and launch a new digital “Proof of Life” service to ease pensioner verification.

NADRA has announced that the number of registration counters in Karachi will be increased from 359 to 550 by the end of this fiscal year to reduce public hassle and improve service delivery.

The new counters will be spread across mega centers and National Registration Centers already operating in the city.

In addition, NADRA will soon introduce an online “Proof of Life” feature through the Pak Identity mobile app, making it easier for pensioners to verify their details without visiting offices.

This new feature is especially aimed at senior citizens who face difficulties with fingerprint verification.

According to NADRA’s Director of Media, Syed Shabahat Ali, the initiative will provide a long-term solution for pensioners and make the verification process more convenient.

The steps are part of NADRA’s broader plan to digitize its services and reduce the workload at physical offices, benefiting thousands of citizens across Karachi
