Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has sought an explanation from the district administration. According to details, a large picture of Maryam Nawaz had been placed at the entrance of a mosque in Mandi Bahauddin.

When this matter came to the Chief Minister’s attention, she immediately summoned the Deputy Commissioner and demanded an explanation as to who had ordered this act. Maryam Nawaz made it clear that using religious places for politics or personal publicity is absolutely unacceptable.

The district administration was strongly reprimanded by her, and she stated that such actions not only create a wrong impression among the public but also go against government policy.

Government institutions and administrative officers were directed by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to strictly avoid such incidents in the future and to ensure full compliance with the established SOPs. The government’s top priority is public welfare and service, not self-promotion, further emphasized Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. Public institutions exist to serve the people, not to display personal pictures for publicity, stressed Maryam Nawaz.
