Mardan (Web Desk): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has inaugurated its fifth Citizen Facilitation Center in Mardan.

The center was formally inaugurated by Dr. Shafqat Ayaz, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Science and Information Technology. The ceremony was attended by key dignitaries, including Provincial Food Minister Muhammad Zahoor Shah, Commissioner Javed Marwat, the Deputy Commissioner and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Mardan, Mardan Board Chairman Professor Jehanzeb, officials from the IT Department, and local PTI representatives.

This modern facility brings together more than 26 government services under one roof, significantly reducing the need for citizens to visit multiple offices. Among the services offered are the issuance of domicile certificates, birth and death registrations, arms licenses, property transfers, building plan approvals, vehicle registrations, and water connection applications.

Speaking at the inauguration, Dr. Ayaz emphasized the government’s commitment to public convenience, saying the initiative promotes efficiency, transparency, and accessibility in service delivery. “The Citizen Facilitation Center is a major step toward digitizing governance and bringing essential services closer to the people,” he stated.
