May 6-7: A Night of Unprovoked Aggression
On the night of 6th and 7th May, India initiated unprovoked and irresponsible aggression against Pakistan under the pretext of counter-terrorism. However, India has failed to provide any evidence of Pakistan’s alleged involvement and has also ignored Pakistan’s call for a neutral, impartial investigation into the matter. The attacks targeted civilian areas, a clear violation of international laws and norms.
Pakistan, in self-defense, responded with precision, targeting and successfully downing multiple Indian Air Force assets. This unprecedented success against India s so-called state-of-the-art technology has gained global recognition and has been widely acknowledged by defense analysts worldwide.
Furthermore, Pakistan’s response effectively neutralized approximately 40-50 Indian Army personnel, with strategic strikes on key military positions, including battalion and brigade headquarters. India’s continued denial to acknowledge these losses is in line with its history of suppressing its own failures – the same pattern seen when India awarded a Vir Chakra to Wing Commander Abhinandan despite losing his aircraft and despite international confirmation that no Pakistani F-16 was shot down.
May 7-8: A Frustrated India Escalates Further
Instead of opting for de-escalation, India chose to escalate the situation further on the night of 7th and 8th May. This time, the targets were threefold:
Sikh Religious Sites in India: Attempting to sow discord and portray the attacks as Pakistani operations, India targeted Sikh religious sites with a malicious intent to intimidate the Sikh community.
Military Targets in Pakistan: The objective was to undermine Pakistan’s defensive capabilities. However, Pakistan’s air defenses were once again on high alert and successfully shot down most of the drones employed in these operations.
Civilian Areas in Pakistan: In a desperate attempt to create panic and a sense of disillusionment, India targeted civilian areas. Despite this, Pakistan’s air defense systems performed exceptionally well, intercepting and neutralizing several drones, a feat that underscores the efficiency and preparedness of the country’s armed forces.
Looking Forward: Pakistan’s Strategic Response
India’s aggression is not a surprise, given its two-week buildup after the Pahalgam incident. However, Pakistan reserves the right to respond at a time and place of its choosing. This response will be calibrated, strategic, and in line with the aspirations of the Pakistani nation. The people of Pakistan are urged to remain calm and trust in the capabilities of their armed forces to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty and integrity.
Information Warfare: Beware of Indian Propaganda
India has also launched an intense information warfare campaign aimed at undermining the morale and trust of the Pakistani populace. Misinformation is being spread across multiple channels, and it is imperative that citizens verify any information before sharing. The nation must remain united, vigilant, and resilient against such psychological operations.
