ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday reserved its verdict on the admissibility of Bushra Bibi’s petition, seeking improved facilities in prison.
IHC judge Justice Inam Amin Minhas conducted the hearing on the application filed by former first lady and spouse of PTI founder.
The proceedings took place amidst objections from the registrar. Advocates Zahir Abbas and Muhammad Usman Gul represented Bushra Bibi during the hearing.
The court inquired whether any decision had been made regarding the application submitted to the superintendent of Adiala Jail.
In response, Bushra Bibi’s lawyer stated that the jail authorities had not directly accepted the application and had sent it to the jail officials via courier.
A courier receipt, confirming submission of the application on April 2, was provided as evidence.
The court then reserved its verdict on the admissibility of the petition.
