The decision was taken during a high-level coordination meeting held in Bahawalpur, chaired by BISP Additional Secretary Dr. Tahir Noor. The meeting finalized the arrangements for the disbursement of the fourth quarters through the bank’s designated retail agents.

Dr. Tahir Noor said that the new model will provide beneficiaries with the opportunity to receive payments from nearby approved retail outlets, which will avoid travel and exposure to severe weather.
