A similar emergency has been declared across Punjab, with all district and provincial hospitals placed on alert. Doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff have been instructed to remain on-site and ensure all necessary preparations are in place.

Meanwhile, in a press briefing, the Director General of ISPR stated that India launched 24 separate attacks targeting six different locations in Pakistan. These attacks resulted in the martyrdom of eight Pakistani civilians and left 35 injured, with two individuals still missing.

In response, Pakistan delivered a strong retaliatory strike, shooting down five Indian fighter jets and destroying a brigade headquarters.

A government spokesperson urged the public to avoid rumours and rely solely on official statements.
