ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): Another private aviation company has confirmed the introduction of air ambulance service in Pakistan.

Following the Edhi Foundation, Sky Wings will kick off the operations with a Piper Seneca aircraft, now stationed in Karachi. To ensure timely medical care, the aircraft is designed to transport patients from any airport across the country to Karachi.

To assist patients during the flights, the service firm includes a dedicated medical team. Imran Sky Wings Aviation CEO unveiled plans to expand the service by introducing two more aircrafts to the fleet soon.

The aim of the company is to expand services across the country to ensure swift transport of patient from both urban and remote areas to medical facilities.

Earlier, Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz launched a government-operated air ambulance service. The service transported an injured woman from Mianwali to Rawalpindi successfully.
