12th Rabi-ul-Awwal date announced in Pakistan

(Web Desk): Rabi-ul-Awwal moon has not been sighted in the country therefore Eid Milad-un-Nabi will be celebrated on Saturday, September 6.

The meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee was held in Karachi at the Meteorological Department office under the chairmanship of Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, while the meetings of the Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees also continued in other cities including Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar.

After the meeting ended, Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, while talking to the media, said that the weather across the country remained cloudy today, and no evidence of the sighting of the moon of the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal was received from anywhere today.

He said that in Pakistan, 1st Rabi ul Awwal will be on Tuesday, August 26, while 12th Rabi ul Awwal will be on Saturday, September 6.

The Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee said that we have to celebrate this blessed month in a special way and follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad said that there is a flood situation in the country, our institutions, the Pakistan Army and the administration are helping the flood-affected people. The flood victims are in dire need of food, medicine and clothes. The public is requested to help the flood victims.

It should be recalled that earlier, Suparco had predicted that the moon of the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal would be sighted on September 24, however, the final announcement was subject to the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
