Punjab govt forms joint inquiry team to investigate Bahawalnagar incident

LAHORE: (Suno News) The Punjab government has formed a Joint Inquiry Team (JIT) to investigate the Bahawalnagar incident.
The Punjab government spokesperson termed the Bahawalnagar incident sad, stating that a joint inquiry team had been formed comprising officials from the Home Department and other security agencies to uncover the facts behind the incident and identify those responsible.
The spokesperson said that false propaganda to damage the spirit of unity and cooperation among all the forces of Pakistan would not be allowed.
He further said, “We all should respect Pakistan’s forces and stay away from such negative propaganda which harms the forces’ unity and honour.”
