A tragic and disturbing incident has emerged from Dadyal, Azad Kashmir, leaving the entire area in deep shock and mourning. Imran Ansari, son of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf central leader Tayyab Ansari and a member of Tehsil Press Club Dadyal, was brutally killed.
Police sources said the suspect had buried the victim’s body, which was later recovered and shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. A post-mortem examination is underway, while police have started investigations from all angles.
Authorities said more details will be shared soon. Heavy police deployment has been made at the hospital, where a large number of citizens have gathered. Anger, fear and sadness are spreading across the area, with locals calling the incident a major tragedy.
The incident has caused even more pain as Imran Ansari had gotten married just three months ago. His brother, Waqas Ansari, said they both left together in a car around 8:15 pm. Shortly after, Imran’s mobile phone was switched off, and the family searched for him throughout the night but found no trace.
Later, Dadyal police informed the family that Imran Ansari had been murdered. Police said he was shot dead, and his body was hidden under sand before being recovered from the Chamyari area.
Police have arrested Waqas son of Arshad and are investigating the motive behind the killing. Officials believe personal enmity or a dispute may be involved, but said the truth will emerge as the investigation progresses.
