According to reports, the court formally informed lawyer Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry about the adjournment of the hearing.
Speaking to the media, Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry said that the last hearing of the Toshakhana-II case inside the jail was held on February 17, but the court s approach has lacked consistency.
“When it comes to sentencing the PTI founder, trials are conducted even late into the night, otherwise, lethargy is displayed,” lawyer Chaudhry added.
He further stated that the next hearing of the Toshakhana case will now be held at the Judicial Complex in Islamabad, after which a new date will be announced by the court.
It is worth noting that in the Toshakhana case, the former Prime Minister and his wife are accused of selling valuable gifts without disclosing them in the official records and gaining personal benefit from the proceeds.
