NAB Reports Bushra Bibi Involved in Four Legal Cases

Islamabad: (Web Desk) On Tuesday, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) presented a report in the Islamabad High Court stating that Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, is involved in 4 cases. Three of these cases are registered in Rawalpindi, and one case is registered with NAB Lahore.

The report was presented during the hearing of a case seeking information about the allegations against Bushra Bibi. Responses have been received from both the Rawalpindi and Islamabad police, but the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Balochistan police have yet to provide their responses.

The Rawalpindi police have identified Bushra Bibi as a suspect in 11 cases related to the events of May 9, including the attack on the General Headquarters (GHQ). The details of these cases were presented to the court by the Chief Police Officer (CPO) of Rawalpindi.

Bushra Bibi faces allegations in several cases, including the attack on the Army Museum, the assault on GHQ Gate 4, arson at a sensitive military building in President Kent, an attack on an intelligence agency office on Murree Road, and various incidents of vandalism and arson at different locations. These cases are registered at the RA Bazaar, Civil Lines, New Town, City, Waris Khan, and Taxila police stations.

The court has issued notices to the FIA and the Balochistan police, directing them to submit their responses by Monday, and has adjourned the hearing until then.
