ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) Islamabad District and Sessions Court has issued arrest warrants for the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub Khan and others.

Judicial Magistrate Shehzad Khan issued the arrest warrants for Omar Ayub and other Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders.

The Judicial Magistrate, Shehzad Khan, conducted the hearing of the cases against PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan, Omar Ayub Khan, and others for violating Section 144.

During the hearing, arrest warrants were issued for Omar Ayub, Aamir Dogar, and Aamir Mughal due to their absence. The court approved Shoaib Shaheen and Barrister Gohar’s request for exemption from attendance.

The two cases have been registered against Barrister Gohar Khan and others at the I-9 Police Station. The court adjourned the hearing of the cases until April 23. It is worthy to note that no argument was presented regarding the defendants  requests for acquittal.
