UHS to open online applications for medical and dental quota seats

Lahore (Web Desk): The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has announced that applications for quota-based admissions in Punjab’s medical and dental colleges will start from December 1, 2026.
According to new admission policy, candidates from other provinces can also apply directly for admissions for the first time.
From now onwards admissions will not be based on nominations. Candidates must have a domicile of their province or region to apply. Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria set by PMDC is also mandatory.
Seats for different regions have been allocated as follows:
- Islamabad: MBBS 26 seats, BDS 4 seats
- Azad Jammu & Kashmir: MBBS 36 seats, BDS 3 seats
- Gilgit-Baltistan: MBBS 55 seats, BDS 5 seats
- Balochistan (Goodwill Category): MBBS 20 seats
- Former FATA: MBBS 21 seats, BDS 6 seats
- Balochistan (HEC Scholarship): MBBS 28 seats, BDS 10 seats
- Former FATA (HEC Scholarship): MBBS 28 seats, BDS 10 seats
Online applications for quota seats will be accepted until December 15.

To assist applicants, UHS has set up a special help desk, led by Deputy Registrar Public Affairs Yasir Sultan, to guide students through the application process.
