(Web Desk): The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has officially announced the results of the Second Annual Matriculation Exams 2025.

The results were released during a press conference by Lahore Board Secretary Rizwan Nazir and Examination Controller Tausif-ur-Rehman, who also shared key details regarding overall performance and exam statistics.

According to the spokesperson, a total of 54,756 students appeared in the exams. The overall pass percentage was 45.43%, which education experts described as slightly better compared to previous years.

Board officials noted that while several candidates performed exceptionally well, a large number of students failed. Out of the total participants, 29,283 students did not pass, and the board advised them to focus on consistent preparation and hard work in the upcoming session.

Officials emphasized that the Lahore Board prioritizes a merit-based examination system and is taking additional steps to ensure transparency.

Additionally, an SMS service has been activated to allow students to receive results on their mobile phones instantly.

Parents, teachers, and education experts have expressed hope that students will learn from these results and show improved performance in future exams.
