He directed officials to start AI education from grade 6 and provide schools with all necessary resources to ensure the program’s success.
Speaking at a meeting of the Elementary and Secondary Education Department, CM Afridi stressed that AI can transform the economy, education, health, and administration.
He said teaching AI will prepare students to tackle future challenges confidently.
The meeting included Provincial Minister for Secondary Education Arshad Ayub and other senior officials.
CM Afridi also instructed that new teaching positions be created in merged districts to address teacher shortages.
He called for inquiries into textbook printing tenders and stationery procurement, directing that government presses should handle all printing.

Additionally, Afridi ordered that teacher postings, transfers, leave encashment, promotions, and scholarships be digitized to increase efficiency and transparency.
