Authorities have ordered the closure of all educational institutions in the Quetta Cantonment area for three days, from November 12 to November 14, according to official sources.
The sudden decision affects all schools, colleges, and private academies operating within the cantonment limits. Sources confirmed that the closure notice has been issued to school administrations, instructing them to suspend all academic activities during the three-day period.
The reasons behind the closure have not yet been officially disclosed. However, reports suggest that the step might be linked to security concerns and administrative arrangements in the area. Law enforcement agencies have reportedly been put on alert, and additional security measures have been implemented around key government and military installations in Quetta Cantonment.
In a related development, the ninth and tenth-grade examinations scheduled for this week have also been postponed. New dates for the exams will be announced later by the respective educational boards.
