(Web Desk): BISE Lahore has opened online rechecking applications for Intermediate Part-II exams, with email notifications replacing SMS alerts.

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has officially started accepting online applications for rechecking of Intermediate Part-II Second Annual Examinations. This initiative is part of the board’s effort to modernize processes and improve communication with students.

A Lahore Board spokesperson confirmed that candidates who submit their rechecking applications online will be informed about their rechecking dates via email. This step is aimed at ensuring students do not miss their scheduled rechecking and makes the process more efficient and transparent.

Previously, students were notified of rechecking dates through SMS. However, Controller of Examinations Tahir Javed noted that many students did not receive these messages, resulting in missed rechecking opportunities. The transition to email notifications is intended to resolve this issue, providing a more reliable and direct mode of communication.

The board has set the deadline for online rechecking applications as January 10, 2026. Students are urged to complete and submit their applications before this date to avoid any inconvenience or delays.

Officials also reminded students to carefully fill out all required details in the online form and to double-check their email addresses to ensure they receive timely notifications.

The BISE Lahore’s move to an online system reflects broader efforts to digitize education administration, reduce errors, and provide students with easier access to important examination services.
