(Web Desk): The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has officially announced the schedule for matric exam paper rechecking.

This will give students a chance to review their results if they suspect an error.

As per the board, students can apply online for rechecking until August 8. This deadline will offer candidates a convenient and easy option to submit requests from the comfort of their homes. The entire process is digital, ensuring easy access and transparency.

The rechecking fee has been fixed at Rs1,200 per paper. However, in a student-friendly move, the board has stated that the fee will be refunded if any marking error is found during rechecking.

This presents a big opportunity for those particularly deserving students who narrowly missed higher grades or feel their performance was not accurately reflected in their marks. This will be a stress-free process, as students won’t need to wait in long queues or go through lengthy paperwork. This will also give a fair review of the process.

Students are advised to complete the online form before the deadline by visiting the official BISE Lahore website.

For many, this step offers not only a second look at their results but also peace of mind in knowing the system supports accountability and accuracy.
