According to a notification issued by Punjab Secretary Schools Khalid Nazir Wattoo, the vacation will start from December 20 and will continue till January 10, 2025. There will be 20-day winter holidays in schools.

It should be noted that during December in Punjab, fog often occurs and the temperature drops by 7 to 8 degrees Celsius, making it difficult for students to attend classes.

Last year, the provincial government initially announced holidays from December 18 to December 31, after which they were extended until January 9, 2024.
