(Web Desk): Ducky Bhai abuse claims resurfaced online as YouTuber Saadur Rehman released a detailed video describing what he called physical and verbal mistreatment during NCCIA custody.

This case is creating concern because it raises serious questions about how suspects are treated in custody. When a public figure speaks out, people pay more attention.

In the video, he presented a timeline from his arrest to his days inside the agency’s remand.

Rehman was detained in August at Lahore Airport over accusations of promoting online gambling and betting apps. Although the Lahore High Court granted him bail on November 25, he was still not released from official custody.

He also pointed out that NCCIA Lahore Additional Director Sarfraz Chaudhry was removed from his post in September amid controversies, including the alleged beating of Rehman.

In his video, Rehman described meeting Chaudhry and claimed that the officer verbally abused him repeatedly. He said Chaudhry questioned his income and accused him of corrupting children through his online influence. Rehman alleged that he was slapped so many times he could not count.

He further accused officials of trying to bribe him, saying they suggested the issue could be settled for Rs70-80 million, an amount he said he did not possess.

Rehman also repeated an earlier allegation discussed in a podcast, claiming that authorities forced him to open his Binance account. He said the investigating officer closed his trades at a loss, converted them to US dollars, and then ordered him to transfer the funds. According to Rehman, the IO moved the amount into his personal account.

The YouTuber added that he felt “very helpless” during the first day of custody and alleged that he asked someone he knew to request that the guards “beat him less”.

NCCIA Lahore responded to the allegations by saying that wrongdoing, when it happens, is committed by individuals, not institutions. The spokesperson stated that the NCCIA maintains a “zero-tolerance policy” toward corrupt conduct and that all proceedings are being handled on merit. He confirmed that FIA Anti-Corruption is already investigating the matter.

On October 28, six NCCIA officials were arrested on charges of misusing their authority and taking bribes. Barrister Mian Ali Ashfaq said the six were taken into FIA custody and would be presented in court, where he would represent them.

Those arrested included Additional Director Sarfraz Chaudhry, In-charge Zawar, Sub-Inspector Ali Raza, Assistant Director Shoaib Riaz, Yasir Gujjar and Mujtaba Kamran. An FIR was registered against nine individuals, including eight NCCIA personnel, following a complaint filed by Rehman’s wife, Aroob Jatoi.

The allegations need a fair and clear investigation. Transparency will help both the complainant and the institution involved.
