Nawaz Sharif wins NA seat from Lahore, loses in Mansehra
LAHORE: (Suno News) Former premier and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif has won a seat of the National Assembly (NA) from NA-130 Lahore while he has lost one from NA-15 Mansehra in the General Election 2024.
According to the unofficial and inconclusive results, PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif was declared successful as he got 171,024 votes from NA-130 while independent candidate Dr Yasmin Rashid, who was backed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), got 115,043 votes.
While in NA-15 Mansehra, Nawaz Sharif faced a shocking defeat against independent candidate Shahzada Gastasap.
According to the unofficial results, Shahzada Gastasap secured 74,713 votes while PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif bagged 63,054 votes.
On the other hand, PML-N chief organiser Maryam Nawaz Sharif also won the National Assembly seat from NA-119 Lahore.
According to the unofficial results of all the 338 polling stations of NA-119, Maryam Nawaz emerged victorious with 83,855 votes while her opponent Shahzad Farooq, an independent candidate, secured 68,376 votes.
