Mohammad Amir appeals to nation regarding elections
LAHORE: (Web Desk) Former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir has made an important appeal to the nation regarding the general elections 2024 scheduled on February 8.
In a statement on social media platform X, he said: “Don’t forget to cast your vote on February 8th! The future of Pakistan rests in your hands. Your vote counts, so make it heard.”

On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Khan Marwat has challenged former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif to a debate in Pushto.
PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif had said in a public meeting “I speak Pushto very well” in response to which Sher Afzal Khan Marwat challenged him to a debate in Pushto. In a statement on his X handle, Sher Afzal Khan Marwat wrote: “I invite Nawaz Sharif for a debate in Pushto.”
PTI leader Sher Afzal Khan Marwat is contesting the election from the NA-41 constituency in Lakki Marwat.
